Today's Misinformation...
...Is tomorrow's grudgingly accepted fact. Seems to me our censorious media shills have some 'spainin to do as they frantically backtrack and gaslight the populace over the Coronapanic and try to run interference for our corrupt and failing institutions. Too bad there isn't some kind of group dedicated to inquiry, into investigating the truth of situations and making some kind of public... report on what they find. We could call them reporters.
A guy can dream.
I'm going to go ahead and admit that I never believe what polls say unless I agree with the results, in which case I concede that the pollsters may have accidentally done something right for once. See, I can admit my own biases. It's not that hard. At any rate, recent polls show that almost nobody likes or trusts the media. My question is, then, why do we have them? They suck, they aren't doing their jobs, and they are all spouting one flavor or another of propaganda. I guess someone must be tuning in, somewhere.
Of course, SOMEONE has to get that propaganda out there, or how are governments going to lie to us and control us? If we didn't have the media reminding us about our frail and decrepit overlords, we might forget they were there and do something useful with our lives.
To be honest, ignoring the fuckers has been my normal mode for the last few years, until they insisted I show up at their idiot circus with their trumped-up cold scare. I'm still going to pass on the ineffective shot, no matter how many absolute morons want to compare me to the ancient Aztecs and their human sacrifices (https://townhall.com/tipsheet/mattvespa/2022/01/31/insane-cnn-guest-says-the-unvaccinated-are-just-like-the-aztecs-and-their-human-sacrifices-n2602580). A brief digression, but isn't this the same political faction that was literally trying to get children to chant prayers to the ancient Aztec gods?
When Trump started going after the legacy news media, I honestly thought he was being pretty harsh. I'd been checked out of the political process for so long that I really didn't realize how absolutely corrupt they really are. There is good journalism being done on the fringes, which is ironically often being called misinformation by the depraved pack of liars that constitute mainstream reporters these days.
