New Moon Aries Mundane Chart Results
The ways my New Moon in Aries Mundane chart predictions stacked up against events are in red below.
The first house of the common people has Capricorn on the cusp and is ruled by Saturn. Saturn is in the succedent second house, conjunct to malefic Saturn and distantly conjunct Venus. I expect the common people to be very angry but unable to do much about it during the duration of this chart.
Frustrations with the political elites seems to be building, and many prominent politicians have very low official approval ratings. This hasn’t really boiled over; I’d describe much of the populace as being at a low simmer.
The second house of national finances is very busy in this chart. It has Aquarius on the cusp and is ruled by Uranus, who is in his fall in Taurus but is given strength by the fact that he and Venus are in mutual reception. The second house is likely to be shocked by powerful and malefic energies.
Stocks had a rough month and a lot of companies that previously commanded high prices have dropped steadily. The S&P 500 dropped for three straight weeks, tech stocks underperformed, and only energy companies seemed to do well this month. Nasdaq had its worst month since 2020 (down 13%). There are a lot of concerns about the Federal Reserve raising interest rates more aggressively to combat inflation. The last day of trading in April, the Dow fell 1000 points.
The GDP fell 1.4% in 2022’s first quarter, leading a lot of analysts to start forecasting a recession and stagflation. Oh boy!
I’m not well versed on economic issues, I’ve been working on educating myself just for purposes of making better charts and predictions but it isn’t a regular interest of mine, so I may have missed some details here.
Saturn and Mars are forming a conjunction in this house, which bodes very ill for the nation’s financial life. This can foretell mass discontent, turbulence, riots, murders, loss of support for the government, or even assassination attempts against people in high places. It can also indicate the deaths of rich people.
This didn’t really happen; I think the effect of New Moon charts can be confirmed as being lower-grade in intensity than ingress charts. I’m sure some rich people died, but I didn’t notice anything that seemed out of the ordinary.
Venus in the second house indicates wasted money, losses in the stock market, extravagances, and high expenditures.
This occurred.
Jupiter and Neptune are conjunct in the second house. This great conjunction is a rare event that will have a lasting impact on the country as a whole (this effect may be mitigated somewhat by the fact that this is a New Moon chart and not an ingress chart; it still doesn’t bode well given the other indicators in the chart).
I’m not really sure if or how this manifested. Some people are still pumping money into a market that seems likely to crash, in my admittedly amateur opinion; maybe this aspect represents the illusion of prosperity and the disconnect between the abstract economy and physical realities “on the ground” as it were.
The third house of communication, publishing, and the internet has Pisces on the cusp and is ruled by Neptune, who is in the sign of his rulership and conjunct Jupiter. There may be a great deal of confusion (perhaps even some sort of cyber attack).
The New Moon occurs in this house, and both the Sun and Moon are conjunct Mercury. This implies there will be a national focus on the third house, which includes the internet and education. With a big focus on censorship and the sexual education of young children in the news, I expect these issues to gain in importance as the month goes on. Since the New Moon, interestingly, Elon Musk has been promoted to the board of Twitter, and he is very in favor of freedom of speech online, unlike Twitter’s current leadership. Hunter Biden’s laptop, its incriminating contents, and possible connections to Joe Biden’s gross corruption, are coming to light in the media after being censored for a year and a half as well.
The Twitter saga, which seems to have culminated in Elon Musk buying the company with the intention of allowing more freedom of speech and transparency in the algorithms used by the company, has been a pretty big deal with journalists and the political classes.
Disney has also been rebuked by Florida due to its opposition to the law variously dubbed the “Don’t Say Gay” law or the “Don’t Groom Kids” law, depending on one’s political orientation.
Hunter’s laptop and the slow rolling Durham probe are also still going concerns in the conservative community, as are investigations into Donald Trump, January 6th’s kerfuffle, and other pet concerns of the liberal political and media classes.
The doxxing of the influential “Libs of Tik Tok” creator has been in the news quite a bit this month as well.
Finally, the Biden regime has announced it is creating a “Ministry of Truth” to combat the perils of misinformation and disinformation… as though they are not amongst its most fervent distributors themselves.
The fourth house of the opposition party and rural areas has Taurus on the cusp and is ruled by Venus. Venus is given strength by her mutual reception with Uranus, but she is still conjunct both Mars (loosely) and Saturn (closely).
Uranus is present here in the fourth house, given strength by the aforementioned mutual reception with Venus. This can represent strong opposition to the President by the opposition party and the general public, and can also foretell bad weather and poor crops (this could mean a bad start to the growing season here in America, which will certainly have bad effects down the road).
The weather has been bad and there is a national fertilizer shortage, which doesn’t bode well for the growing season this year. Jen Psaki is assuring us there will not be food shortages in the USA, so I’d say start hoarding food as soon as possible or risk starvation this winter (I’m mostly joking. Mostly).
In general, conservatives are taking it to the leftists, and are winning a lot of support amongst people who are not broadly supportive of the extreme left’s more controversial stances.
The fifth house has Taurus on the cusp and is ruled by Venus. Venus has a number of debilities, so I expect the house of entertainment and the Senate to be in poor shape.
Netflix and Disney stock have been dropping, and by and large the entertainment industry still doesn’t seem to have the clout and cultural cachet it used to with broad swathes of the populace.
The sixth house of public health has Gemini on the cusp and is ruled by Mercury, who is in the cadent third house and is also combust. There may be a great deal of information about public health in the media this month.
Talk about vaccine side effects and the like have started to percolate into the mass media, and the ineffectiveness of the country's (world’s) Covid response is becoming more acknowledged. Mercury, which governs travel, rules this house, and the mask mandates for public transportation were struck down as being illegal this month.
The seventh house has Cancer on the cusp and is ruled by the moon. The moon is in rough shape in the cadent third and is conjunct Mercury. Seventh house matters will not be great but it also appears that other factors will be consuming national attention this month.
The chattering classes are still pretty fixated on Ukraine and Russia, and a lot of people who really ought to know better are pushing for us to escalate our involvement.
The eighth house of death and foreign money has Leo on the cusp and is ruled by the Sun, who is in the cadent third house, where he is intercepted but has some dignity due to his placement in Aries. I wonder if there will be attention given to all the foreign money Joe Biden has received from foreign governments!
Conservative media has noted that Joe Biden has at least 5 million dollars not accounted for on his taxes, and Hunter’s deals with foreign countries are being linked to Joe Biden. There is talk of influence peddling, which I’m sure is just idle talk (that’s a bit of sarcasm if you missed it). Joe has also asked for 33 billion more dollars for Ukraine.
The ninth house of the judiciary has Virgo on the cusp and is ruled by Mercury. It seems likely that the ascension of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson will remain controversial and in the news this cycle.
This has been a thing, and the Trump appointed judge who struck down the transportation mask mandate was in the news as well. Each made the other side of the political aisle chomp at the bit for different reasons.
The tenth house of the executive branch has Scorpio on the cusp and is ruled by Mars. Mars is in very malefic condition and a lot of ire may be directed at the chief executive during this time frame.
Given Biden’s massive and growing unpopularity with just about every faction of the electorate, I’d say this was accurate. Even Democrats don’t want him to run again, and he’s lost massive amounts of support with groups who usually vote Democrat, like young people, hispanics, and black people.
The eleventh house of the lower legislative branch has Scorpio on the cusp and is ruled by Mars. Whatever ill will is directed at the government during this period will also be directed at Congress.
Congress seems unpopular from where I’m sitting; many people are quite angry with the political classes.
The twelfth house of institutions has Sagittarius on the cusp and is ruled by Jupiter. Jupiter is conjunct Neptune, which foretells a massive change in the institutional life of the country.
As of yet, I’m not sure how this will play out. Given the nature of Neptune, seeds have been planted in various ways not at all obvious right now that will create large changes over time. The Musk Twitter takeover may have surprising implications, and a movie trailer for a documentary called “2000 Mules” may shed some interesting light on “election irregularities” involving ballot box stuffing in the 2020 election has been getting attention this month; maybe Big Tech won’t be allowed to censor it?
I don’t even want to risk making specific predictions based on this chart, but some sort of financial collapse seems likely this month, with attendant rage and possibly riots. Looks like a good time to work on resilience and focus on building spiritual strength in the face of likely adversity. I’ll check in around the New Moon in Taurus to see how this went. Well, I assume I will be in a position to do that!
As of this writing a couple days before the New Moon in Taurus, the financial life of the country has not collapsed and my predictions were more extreme than what happened; the overall themes of the chart seemed pretty accurate though. In the future, I’ll temper my predictions a bit, and try to reference the ingress chart more as I lay out the New Moon charts.
