The Great MAGA King

I have mixed feelings about Donald Trump. My view is nuanced instead of being ridiculously polarized and one-sided, so I get dumped in with the "Ultra MAGA" crowd by default (I did vote for him in 2020 and think he would have won if not for deep state driven election shenanigans, so there's that). I was fairly content with his presidency up until the Covid debacle, which I think he handled poorly (I preferred the Swedish model of pandemic management, which ultimately seems to have worked as well as, if not better than, the rest of the Western world's approach by most metrics; and I'll refrain from commenting about Warp Speed and the garbage genetic treatments that got fast-tracked under his administration). I tend to think he was undermined quite a bit by the people in his orbit, but when you're the man, you're the man, and the buck stops with you.

All that aside, as Woke Sundowner Joe rambled and railed at the Donald, he introduced the phrase "Great MAGA King", which is a brilliant bit of branding... for Trump. It gives him an air of power and authority that our bumbling, incompetent, and frail Chief Executive sorely lacks. He makes Trump sound like some kind of bitchin Super Sayian from Dragon Ball Z, a leveled up godlike figure. I'm not sure its the sort of comparison that will do the out of touch, senile, weak, and frankly lunatic Democrats much good, but who knows.
