When I think about the pseudo-crisis unfolding around us, I tend to think about it in rationalist terms, or using the types of maps that normies tend to use. I consider it from the standpoint of psychology, or sociology, or just sit back and think about how weird it is and how so little of it makes sense. These maps are not the only ones I possess, however. I am a mage, and so I took out my favorite mental map and tried to navigate the odd territory of the CoronaCrisis with it.
The map I am referring to is my trusty Mage's Map, which I am in the process of creating myself with the help of John Micheal Greer's books and blogs, and the work of other students of his who's writing I get the pleasure of reading here on Dreamwidth. My Mage's Map is still vague in parts and is probably hopelessly incorrect in others, but I think I have some of the general shapes filled in fairly well.
One concept mages use to explain things is the idea of tracks in space. In essence, the thoughts, actions, and images that people regularly think, perform, or visualize create "tracks" that energy flows into. These energized patterns tend to repeat. Our elites have settled on a strategy and have forced people worldwide to follow those tracks in space, which have essentially become ruts at this point. Even though the responses are not working to mitigate the spread of the virus, the tracks in space have become so entrenched for so many people that they have become difficult to overcome. Thus, we wear masks that don't really work, social distance even though it is ineffective, and double down on dangerous "vaccinations" that don't work either.
Another angle to consider is that a lot of the propaganda surrounding the disease and the vaccination campaign could be considered what is called cacomagic by mages. As I understand it, this basically means "shit magic", and it is a low down, degraded, manipulative sorcery. One of the techniques of cacomagic is manipulative imagery that creates powerful emotional states. An obvious example of this is beer commercials, which tend to use sexy images linked with the product and various logos to manipulate the viewer. Advertising in general can be considered a low form of magic, in other words.
One of the dangers of cacomagic is the karmic blowback from using it. If you are pumping out massive amounts of fear, using the news as a way to frighten, intimidate, deceive, and manipulate people's behavior, then those same energies you are creating and putting out will tend to manifest in your own lives as well. If you are clouding people's judgement with manipulated data, cherry picking information to support your narrative, and lying about and defaming anyone who disagrees with you, those are the exact energies that you will tend to experience in your own lives. Therefore, all the establishment flunkies who created this artificial reality, this consensus cacomagical dream, are now living in it, acting as though their lies are true, because they have enchanted themselves and well as their targets. As someone pointed out in JMG's latest Open Covid post, the people who are most invested in the Narrative (and what a bad dream they are choosing to live in, and force upon others) are not very happy, well adjusted people.
So, tracks in space and a bit of the ol' raspberry jam may be a few metaphysical factors at play here. One other thing occurred to me on this topic as well, although it is pure speculation. One thing JMG has discussed is the archetype of the Changer and the way it coalesced around Donald Trump and the image of Pepe the Frog/Kek. In his essays about the Changer, the ones who resisted the Changer became locked into their opposition and kept repeating whatever they were doing to try to stop him on his path. This seems to me exactly what is happening; in the face of changing circumstances, the PMC and their followers are doubling down and continuing the same things that have already failed over and over.
In the myth JMG relayed, the people who tried to stop the Changer were transformed in various ways (into deer, or beavers for example). I don't think that the ones trying to stop the Changer are going to be transformed in that sense in the way this archetypal pattern plays out this time. I think the results may be far graver.
Hopefully I haven't mangled any of this too badly. In the near future I am going to be posting an astrological chart for the 2022 Aries ingress that I cast this week. I am not a particularly skilled astrologer, but if I am reading the chart correctly, next year should see some major changes that will REALLY alter everything forever. I believe the Narrative, and a lot of other things, will be perishing quite messily in 2022.
