Since the Supreme Court is hearing cases related to our dear demented dictator Biden's "Vaccine Mandates" in January, I decided to take a look at the mundane chart for January and see what I could discern from the astrology of the month. Most mundane astrology forecasts focus on the ingress charts, but New Moon charts can also give insight into what will happen for each lunar cycle.
As it happens, I am extremely anti-vaccine mandate, and I think executive orders are being abused in general (not just by Creepy Joe). Unfortunately, I think his mandates are going to be upheld by the Supreme Court based on this chart. An ingress chart would theoretically reveal the same thing (and JMG mentioned that he thinks a Supreme Court decision is going to go the wrong way during in his breakdown of the Capricorn ingress that just occurred). If this chart is accurate, it backs up his prediction in a big way.
I did a full breakdown of the chart, but for purposes of this post I'm going to highlight some of the aspects that I think point toward that particular outcome. I also think this is going to be one of the most important things to happen during this particular cycle, as there are four planets (five if you count Pluto) in the 9th house of the courts.
This chart has Taurus on the ascendant and is ruled by Venus, who is in her detriment in Capricorn and retrograde.
The first thing that stands out about this chart is that all of the planets are clustered in one general area. The first planet in the chart is Mars, which is in the seventh house of foreign affairs. This house has Scorpio on the cusp and is ruled by Mars, but Mars is in Sagittarius and is therefore intercepted. He's sextile Saturn, which gives some strength to the government and armed forces. This may relate to some saber rattling directed at the US's foreign enemies, but I don't think there will be major incidents with foreign powers.
The next thing that jumps out is the number of planets in the ninth house of the judiciary. We have four planets in this house, which indicates a big focus on 9th house affairs. As I mentioned above, I think this will relate to the mandates. The 9th house in this chart is ruled by Saturn, which is well placed in the 10th house, but strongly afflicted by a square with Uranus (the effects of this square will be explored later in the chart).
The Sun is in Capricorn in the 9th house. The Sun, which represents the Executive Branch, is well aspected in the 9th house and is traditionally strong here. As this is a New Moon chart, the Sun is conjunct the Moon, meaning there will be a national focus on the events related to this house. The Sun is trine Uranus in Taurus. Uranus is in awful shape but in positive aspect with the Sun it can indicate some success for the Executive (Joe Biden).
The Moon is in the 9th House, which indicates that the courts will be dealing with cases affecting workers (this seems pretty on-the-nose, bear in mind I pulled it straight out of a manual published in 1911). Like the Sun, the moon is trine Uranus, which strengthens government efforts at reform.
Mercury is in the 9th, where he is intercepted in Aquarius. This indicates the law courts will be active. His fairly poor condition may indicate employees in travel and shipping may suffer from discontent.
Venus, who is in her detriment in Capricorn and retrograde (and conjunct Pluto to boot if you take that into account), is in the 9th. This could indicate a scandal involving religion or people related to the law. It will be interesting to see if some kind of scandalous material related to a Supreme Court justice surfaces this month. Venus is given some strength by a sextile to Neptune, which could indicate good news for hospitals or charities.
I don't have information on Pluto in the book I'm using to cast these charts, but it's probably worth mentioning that Pluto is hanging out in the 9th in this chart, conjunct the chart's ruler, Venus. I'm considering whether Pluto may have more an impact than JMG thinks at this point in time; whether JMG's hypothesis about Pluto's waning power is correct remains to be seen, but I suspect for now he is still exerting influence on earthly affairs. If so, count on his influence to be malefic.
Saturn in this chart is strongly placed in the 10th house, but is seriously afflicted by a square with Uranus in the 12th house of institutions. Saturn in the 10th indicates power for the Executive branch, but it can be power bereft of popularity or public support. The square with Uranus can foretell discord and misfortune in national affairs, trouble for the Executive branch, disturbances in the nation's political life, delay, and reforms resisted. This malefic square has been repeating through all of 2021 and indicates that, while the Biden administration may have it's mandates upheld, it may have consequences that undermine the stability of the entire government.
Jupiter, the greater benefic, is in the 11th house, intercepted in Pisces. This placement can be good for the passage of legislation, but as Jupiter is intercepted and makes no aspects to any other planets in the chart, it could indicate that the Democrat's legislative agenda remains stalled out to some extent.
Also present in the 11th house is Neptune, who is in his sign of rulership in Pisces but is intercepted in this house, which has Aquarius on the cusp and is ruled by Uranus. Uranus is in bad shape in the house of institutions. Neptune in the 11th could indicate delay in the legislative process; it could be that a more modest version of the "Build Back Better" agenda comes up for debate.
Uranus in this chart is in his fall in Taurus and intercepted in the 12th house of institutions. With Aries on the cusp of the 12th, this house is ruled by Mars. Uranus here can indicate changes and new regulations in hospitals (and workhouses... not sure what the modern American equivalent of a workhouse is). These changes will lead to greater disorder and discontent instead of having a positive effect.
Another thing that is probably worth mentioning is that Leo, ruled by the Sun, is on the cusp of two houses that may be important to consider.
Although there are no planets in the 4th house of the rural hinterlands and the party out of power, Leo is on the cusp and therefore the Sun (executive branch) rules this house, which suggests to me that efforts to check the executive branch by Republicans, and any resistance to the executive from the rural areas, won't be effective at this time. As Leo is also on the cusp of the 5th, which is the House that rules the Senate, the Biden admin may have some success getting the Senate on board with passing some of his agenda.
This is another chart I really hope is wrong, but I have a gut feeling that the Supreme Court is going to uphold this foray into medical tyranny. The fallout for the Biden administration may be quite unpleasant in the longer term, though. In the meantime, I'm going to use this as a thrust block and work on becoming more financially independent and less reliant on getting my income from traditional employment.

Half Right?
It's nice that the court got this half-right. But it never should have gotten this far to begin with.
Let's go Brandon!
