In order to simplify things a bit, I’m focusing on the houses that have planets in them, with the biggest emphasis on the house where the Sun and Moon conjoin. The Sun and Moon are conjunct in the third house in this month’s mundane astrology chart, which indicates that there will be a national focus on 3rd house concerns. As there are 5 planets in the third house in this chart, there will be a lot of action in the house of the media, communications, transport, and the internet. The State of the Union address is also coming up. Based on this chart, I don't think it's going to go well.

The first house has Scorpio on the cusp and is ruled by Mars, who is exalted in Capricorn. There are no planets here in the house of the ordinary people, though. Perhaps this will indicate the rising frustrations of the populace with the ruling classes; it seems like everyone is mad at the government, although for different reasons.

The second house of the economy, trade, and banking has Sagittarius on the cusp and is ruled by Jupiter. The Greater Benefic is in the angular 4th house but is intercepted in Pisces. This house hosts powerfully placed chart ruler Mars, and Venus, who are moving toward a conjunction that is too far out of orb to consider in this chart.

Mars in the second can indicate high government expenses and perhaps even the deaths of rich people. Mars is exalted in Capricorn and trine Jupiter, giving it some expansive strength and additional power. I’m thinking this may be our red hot inflation. I’m going out on a limb and I’m going to predict the stock market is going to heat up again as well. Please do not invest your money based on my apprentice level mundane chart. Venus is also here in the second, she is in her detriment in Capricorn but is trine Uranus. Venus in the second can be good for money matters. I do not think the real economy is in good shape, but my official prediction is the stock market is going to keep chugging along for another month.

The third house will be the major focus of this chart due to the New Moon conjunction of the Sun and Moon. The third house is cadent and all the planets here are weakened. The third house has Capricorn on the cusp and is ruled by Saturn. Saturn is in the third but is intercepted in Aquarius, and is conjunct both the Sun and Moon.

The Sun (our hapless Chief Executive ) is in his detriment in Aquarius and is weak in the cadent third house. His conjunction with Saturn indicates that he has power but not popularity (and his power is weak due to his debilities). The Sun is suffering from a square with Uranus, which is placed in the seventh house. I think this may manifest in one or more of the following ways. First, Joe has been benefiting from the media carrying water for him (Aquarius is the water bearer after all), but the square with Uranus can indicate that friends are lost, his party may further fracture, and his autocratic use of power may result in strikes and rioting. Since this is in the third house, I am very much wondering if supply chain issues may be exacerbated by some sort of trucker’s movement like the one our Northern neighbors are enjoying. The media may decide to do their jobs and look into all of Joe’s connections to China (hey, I can hope, right??), and he may lose the tepid support of the Progressive wing of his party if he tries to alter his communications strategy and take a more centrist approach (which would be a good move politically so he probably won’t). As Uranus is in the seventh house of foreign affairs, I suspect that Biden is going to lose a lot of support from allies, probably over his bungled Ukraine policy and bad messaging related to the potential Russian invasion thereof.

The Moon in the third is also conjunct Saturn and afflicted by the square with Uranus. The Moon in the third suggests issues with travel, roads, and the supply chain as well. It is bad for legislation and can indicate unpopularity and hostility toward what JMG has termed the chattering classes.

Mercury is retrograde and cadent in Capricorn in the third house. Mercury in the third rules communications and is in the house of the media; the press may revisit some issue that was restricted before. He is also conjunct Pluto, the planet of the Underworld; I wonder if some dark secrets and scandals may start coming to light in the media. Mercury is also movement over roads and trade, so again, I’m looking at supply chain disruptions as well.

Jupiter is in Pisces, angular in the fourth house. The fourth house is ruled by Neptune, who is in his sign of rulership in the 5th house. Jupiter in the 4th is said to be good for the common people; he’s trine Mars in the second, which as I mentioned earlier could be related to a hot stock market and hot inflation.

Saturn is in Aquarius, intercepted in the third house. This can indicate troubles for businesses that relate to the third house. Again, I’m thinking it’s supply chain restrictions and issues. And moar censorship from our Big Tech arbiters of truth.

Neptune is in his sign of rulership in Pisces in the fifth house. He’s strong here, suggesting that the entertainment industry may have some strength or influence on this month’s events. It could represent the interest in “entertainment” figures like Joe Rogan, or his celebrity antagonists trying to censor and shut him down.

Taurus, ruled by Venus, is on the cusp of the seventh house. Venus is in her detriment in Capricorn and is trine Uranus, who is in this house. The seventh house is the house of treaties, foreign affairs, and war. Uranus, the planet of major disruptions, is present in this house, square the Sun and Moon. This is probably not where you want to find Uranus in a mundane chart. It indicates complications in foreign affairs; I detailed some of that above and won’t repeat it here. I am wondering if the tensions between Russia and the Ukraine will continue to ease at the same time the Biden admin is trying to pound the war drums, creating a confused mess (which is also an apt description of the whole Biden administration).

To sum up my major predictions: inflation will be hot, the stock market will rally for at least another month, most of the legacy media will keep carrying water for the Biden admin and pushing for censorship of alternative media but those efforts will fail, scandals and forbidden information may start to surface even in legacy media, we may face a trucker protest or strike like they are experiencing in Canada, lots of supply chain problems and shortages will lead to serious anger and resentment toward our hapless elites, and the Ukraine and Russia will not play along with our attempts to spark a conflict and tensions may even ease.

I tried to be a little more specific with predictions this month since my last chart was so vague. Please keep in mind, gentle reader, that this chart is for entertainment purposes only and that my astrology skills are still pretty basic.
